6 - Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office 9/11 Tribute Ride
7:30 AM-11:00 AM 09/06/2026 ![]() QCCC participants will meet at Maker’s Space – 1003 Louise Ave., Charlotte between 7:30 and 7:45 for 8:00 departure to the tribute location. If anyone is interested in touring the shop, meet Joe Epifania there at 7:15. New meet up location: Extended Stay America Suites 1424 Matthews Mint Hill Rd, Matthews, NC 28105 Event Start Location: 2425 Sports Pkwy, Matthews, NC 28105 This is more than a ride – it’s a tribute, a remembrance, and a powerful display of community unity. Let’s fill the streets with beautiful cars, proud clubs, American flags, and the spirit of togetherness. The start location is 801 E. 4th Street in front of the courthouse. The street will be blocked off between McDowell and Davidson. Cars should assemble between 8:00-8:15 and the tribute will begin at 9:11 sharp. There is a $25 donation per car will proceeds benefiting the Shop With A Sheriff’s Christmas Drive. Please come prepared with your cash donation. Our gathering point will be the parking lot of the Harris Teeter Harris Teeter 7800 Stevens Mill Stallings, NC. Let’s begin to gather @ 11AM. Gary will lead the procession, and we will leave for the Finocchi Home at Noon. Sorry for the short notice, I appreciate everyone’s participation in advance.
