All day 06/06/2026 ![]() The Calvary Cruise-in and Car Show for 2026 takes place on Saturday, June 6 from 8 AM to 2 PM at Calvary Church, 5801 Pineville-Matthews Rd., Charlotte. It’s free to attend (and to exhibit your ride – register at the event web site – see the link above), and in addition to all the great vehicles of all kinds and vintages, there will be food trucks, offering a variety of drinks, eats & treats! Interested QCCC members can join in a short (approx. 4 miles, 10 minutes) Club caravan to the event so that we can park together – we’ll be assembling at the Best Buy parking lot at 9839 Rea Road (Blakeney Town Center) at 7:30 AM and depart for the Calvary Church parking lot at 7:45 AM. WCC’s owner has generously agreed to allow us to mark off a set of spaces for QCCC members so that we can park together as a group. We continue to be asked to attend this show by the restaurant team at Bubba’s 33, and June looks like a good opportunity to do that. I’ve heard good things about this small show and would like to invite the Out-West diners and anyone else in the QCCC realm to attend. Event starts @ 7pm and runs through 9pm. I’ve reached out to our contact Angel at Bubba’s to let her know that the QCCC group will be there on June 17th. Please respond to gwen_c42@hotmail.com that you’ll be attending and we will update you with any news and specifics received back from the restaurant. This is a Wednesday Night, 7PM start time. This 3-day ride will cover 500 miles of curves in NC, TN, VA, and WV, including Hwy 18, Hwy 181, The Snake, Back of the Dragon, etc. To ensure we have a safe ride, we’ll average 170 miles and around 4 hours driving per day. This will leave time for gas stops, focus breaks, meals, socializing, and car cleaning for those who are OCD. – Day 1 Lincolnton – Bristol 160 miles 4hr 40min – Day 2 Bristol – Pounding Mill 182 miles 3hr 40mi – Day 3 Pounding Mill – Statesville 167 miles 3hr 54min We’re calling this ride the “Dollar General Trail” because when Scott Hamilton and I scouted the route on Harleys, we must have passed more than 50 Dollar General stores. | 26 | 27 - Troutman 4th of July Parade
10:00 AM-12:00 PM 06/27/2026 ![]() Come and enjoy an old-fashioned, small town parade with your QCCC friends. Help us celebrate USA’s Independence by participating in this totally free event. There will be over 150 different units and organizations participating including the Largest Corvette Club in the Southeast USA, QCCC. Dollar Tree parking lot 611 N Main Street Troutman, NC Please be at the staging area by 10AM as the road gets blocked off at that time. Be sure to DECORATE your Corvette for the event. I even heard that Uncle Sam will be in attendance. The parade will start at 11AM, travel through town on Main Street and end at the American Legion Hall/Troutman Elementary School. We will enter the elementary school to remove decorations and then proceed on HWY 21 to 515 Rinehart Rd for lunch @ Lancaster’s BBQ. - Kannapolis Cannon Ballers Baseball Game
7:00 PM-10:00 PM 06/27/2026 1 Cannon Baller Way, Kannapolis, NC 28081 ![]() Come join the QCCC to watch the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers Team, the Single-A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, play the Columbia Fireflies (Kansas City Royals) on Saturday June 27 and enjoy ballpark popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jacks, hot dogs and beer. Also, there will be fireworks immediately after the game! We have secured a block of 60 seats in Section 112 – at the top of the Section so there are just a couple of stairs. The cost is $14.50 per person which includes $2.00 of Baller Bucks to use for concessions or merchandise throughout the ballpark. Kannapolis has several free paved parking lots within walking distance of the ballpark. There is also a grassy field closer to the ballpark, across the street from the outfield, which charges a fee.
