9:30 AM-2:00 PM 08/01/2026 ![]() The Stars & Cars event offers back to school supplies provided by the Mecklenburg County Sherriff’s Office (MCSO) and our cars help them advertise the event and draw others to participate. We made a $500 donation to MCSO at our May business meeting for their Escape Camp for at risk kids. Stars & Cars is an offshoot of that effort. 9:30 – Meet at Northern Tool (9401 Statesville Rd., Charlotte)
9:45 – Leave for the event
10:00 – Car set-up begins at the Sherriff’s office (5235 Spector Dr., Charlotte)

The Music portion of the Museum, the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame, was created to honor musicians, composers and artist with ties to NC that have made a significant impact in the music industry.
